Data2Decision Releases QuickDraw (12/17/2009) - Friday, December 18, 2009

Data2Decision (D2D) has introduced QuickDraw, an innovative web-based, smart phone accessible program management system that is being used by a number of Association of Alternative Newsweekly (AAN) papers to not only reduce data management fees, but increase quality and production. Lon Lovestone, President of Data2Decision, Inc., made the announcement.

According to Vice President Cory Evaskavich, QuickDraw is currently being deployed as the central circulation management system for Metro News Canada (Calgary and Edmonton), the East Bay Express and the Boise Weekly. Evaskavich said 4 cities are currently utilizing QuickDraw with several Cities Beta testing new features.

“Any Driver or Circulation Manager can enter audit or return data directly into a central enterprise database from any City worldwide,” said Evaskavich. “Our suite of services also includes an automated skid dispatch and route sheet report generator that has increased data quality/consistency and reduced data-entry and overall administrative costs.”

Evaskavich added that the Metro news Canada is also using a QuickDraw dashboard component that displays key performance Indicators, including live return figures, net sales performance, cover page performance and weather history. Data is easily modified and edited using customized smart phone accessible data entry forms and dropdowns.

In addition to reporting and dashboard features, Evaskavich said QuickDraw includes 19 specialized modules. Some of these are: Single Copy Draw Optimizer; Location Performance Dashboard; Operations and Maintenance; Driver Payment; and Web-based Mapping.
